Hey!

It's been a while since I have updated....actually, i'm not really sure anyone reads this anymore, but i'll give it a go...

That Twin's game I took Dan to turned out to be the best game we've been to, even though we lost. We got to the Dome early and I was headed to the bathroom when I turned around and saw Dan talking to some lady. I went back to find out what was up and the lady turned out to be a Promotions person for the Twins. She invited Dan to go down to the field for a chipping contest. So, we got to go behind the scenes with our VIP passes down to the field. It was SOO cool! I was 15 feet away from Joe Mauer!...and all of the other Twins' players. I even got to wish Michael Cuddyer, Jason Kubel and Jason Bartlett "good luck" on our way back out. I tried as hard as I could to get Joe's autograph but the stupid security people wouldn't let me. But, i managed to snap a few pictures of him on dan's cell phone. Oh yeah, and Dan won the chipping contest and recieved a $500 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods.

This weekend should be fun. Jeff is coming up to visit us tomorrow and we're going golfing. Chris is coming up tonight and we all might go downtown along with my friend Jolene and her husband. It's been SO LONG since i've been out to the bars, so it should be interesting.

I recieved a call today for an interview! I'm super excited...it's at a town that's west of the cities and about 30 min South of Monticello. I'm hoping for the best, but am NOT getting my hopes up. I'll let you know on Wednesday whether I'm employed again or not.

Next weekend Dan and I are going with Amy, Brent and Emma (hopefully) down to Ames to visit Mini. I can't wait! It's been far too long since I've been down there and i miss him so much!

And, I think that's all I have to report on.

Hey -

It's been a HOT mo fo  these past few days...and weeks. And, Dan told me we're supposed to be in the heat for another 20 days!?!? Crazy...

I'm still unemployed, but my hopes are going up. I may be getting an interview at a school in our district...i'll keep you posted.

Going to the TWINS game tomorrow night. I bought Dan tickets for his birthday. We'll be sitting right behind the twins' bullpen. Hopefully a certain catcher will hit a foul ball my way.....

Hey -

Not much is going on here hence the lack of updates. Basically after this week I am unemployed until further notice. Pretty pathetic.

I went out to lunch with one of my friends I met at the school I worked at. She's also teaching summer school. It was nice to finally have a friend to hang out with up here.

Going to SW MN this weekend...AGAIN...Dan's 5 year class reunion. I'm the designated driver, whoopee.

Well, I'm gonna go watch some TWINS! Good night.

Ahh, it's Friday. I'm excited because Dan and I are going camping this weekend. It will be nice to have some time for just the two of us. Lately we've been gone every weekend doing this and that. In fact, we haven't stayed up in St. Cloud a weekend yet this summer and probably won't get to until August...maybe.

It's my WEEK off! There is no summer school this week, or lessons. It's going to be a great week!

Dan and I made a HUGE purchase on Saturday...while I was in Walmart (gasp) picking up wedding pictures, he decided to drive over to the car dealership to look for a new vehicle for me. We've been looking for a while now because my Monte wasn't the most reliable hunk of junk. (It broke down on my 6 times last year in 6 months.) He came across a Nissan Altima that he really liked. He brought me over to see it and I liked it also, but I wanted something with less milage. Then we stumbled across one with less milage and a year newer! Took it for a test drive, bargained with the people (thanks to dan) and got ourselves a new car! It was quite the experience...But I love her!

17 days until my birthday!!!.....and 18 until Dan's.
